North Shields-based Global Plastics has become the latest company to
partner with Deeplas.
Global Plastics took the decision to change supplier because it was
looking for a company that could support its next phase of growth.
That required access to a wide range of premium-quality PVC-U
fascias, soffit boards, cladding, architraves, angles and trims –
all backed up by excellent service and an effective marketing
support package.
Quality from the new supplier was a priority for Global Plastics
because it deals with a large number of professional installers,
window fabricators and builders who understand the commercial
advantages of high standards in terms of product and service.
The ability of Deeplas to demonstrate this created a compelling
proposition for Global Plastics. Combined with the marketing support
from Deeplas and its PERC (Purveyors of Excellence in Roofline and
Cladding) Installer Scheme, in the end, the decision to change
supplier was relatively easy.
Deeplas has established a reputation for the quality of its foam
products, which are BBA and CSTB certified, and carry the BSI
Kitemark. White PVC-U products are guaranteed for up to 20 years
against discolouration, warping and cracking. Coloured products
carry a ten-year guarantee.
In practical terms, Deeplas quality means denser boards to create
more robust installations, saving valuable time during fitting, and
instant kerb appeal with 90 degree corners and a straight-edge
finish retaining its shape and appearance for life.
“We have had an overwhelming positive response from customers since
we began offering Deeplas products,” said Mark Ballantyne,
co-director of Global Plastics. “We are a growing business and
Deeplas was able to clearly demonstrate how it will be able to help
us drive our business forward over the next few years.”
Deeplas will focus on generating business for Global Plastics
through its ‘find an installer’ facility, listed on the Deeplas
website: www.deeplas.co.uk. This is a network of PERC accredited
installer scheme members that ensures its PVC-U roofline and
cladding products are fitted by trained professionals to
consistently high standards. Ultimately, that means clients receive
the best-quality roofline products – fitted by the best-qualified
roofline installers.
“The Deeplas customer service team and delivery drivers are
excellent,” added Steve Hyland, co-director of Global Plastics.
“That has given us the confidence to go and look for new business as
we know we will receive the back up to allow us to deliver our
commitments to the customer – that is essential for any growing
business.”
Hazel Verschuere, Deeplas Building Products Director, said: “The big
advantage for installers is that Global Plastics has been “hands on”
in the building plastics market for a long time and that means
installers can be sure of finding quality products and valuable
advice, backed up by excellent service.”
Global Plastics’ customers can either purchase Deeplas products over
the trade counter or arrange delivery to site.
