A leading fashion designer from Spain, Juan Duyos has used Silestone
to form a spectacular catwalk and inspire his Autumn-Winter 2011
Collection at the renowned Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week.
The fashion collection is called Colorama and is based on dramatic combinations of tertiary colours such as red, aquamarine, pale green, gold, alga, sand, magenta, champagne.
Models could be seen sashaying down a 168 m2 catwalk made from 300 pieces (600x600mm) of Silestone in an array of different colours from the bang on trend Life Collection.
Christophe Gontier, managing director for Cosentino in the UK says, “It is often said that fashion strongly influences trends in home interiors. This is a perfect example of fashion and interiors working hand in hand.”
Silestone is well known for its use in kitchens, bathrooms and flooring due to its hardwearing characteristics, yet aesthetically beautiful characteristics.
Silestone starts from £400 per square metre.
